1. Who we are

NameVerse (“we”, “us”) is a musical keepsake studio at https://nameverse.app. We create original birthday songs from a recipient’s name and the memories you share.

For privacy questions, data-access requests, or deletion requests, email support@nameverse.app. That is our primary contact.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to write, record, sell, and deliver a gift:

• Your Google account name, email, and profile image when you sign in
• The recipient’s name, nickname, pronunciation hints, and your relationship
• Memories, notes, photos, and musical preferences you submit
• Song files, lyrics, gift-page content, and order status we generate for you
• Payment status and checkout identifiers from Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
• Device and usage data on public marketing pages through analytics tools described below

3. How we use information

We use this information to:

• Compose lyrics and record studio takes
• Process one-time payments and song credits
• Deliver MP3 audio, lyrics, and the private gift page
• Handle Birthday Promise re-records and support requests
• Keep the site secure and understand public-page traffic

We do not sell, rent, or use your personal memories for advertising. Gift content stays on the private link you share unless you choose to make it public.

4. Processors we rely on

Trusted providers help us operate the service. They receive only what they need:

• Google — sign-in
• Stripe — checkout and payment
• Cloudflare — hosting, database, and file storage
• fal.ai — lyrics and music generation
• Plausible (self-hosted) — privacy-friendly page views on public marketing pages
• Microsoft Clarity — session replays, heatmaps, and usage insights on public marketing pages

5. Cookies and analytics

Authentication cookies keep you signed in. On public marketing pages we also load Plausible, a first-party analytics script that records page views without advertising cookies, and Microsoft Clarity for session replays, heatmaps, and related usage insights.

We do not load analytics on private gift pages, the song studio, account pages, or sign-in pages. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

6. Storage, security, and retention

Song assets and account records are stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

We keep your songs and account data while your account is active so you can replay, re-gift, or request a Birthday Promise remake. You may ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@nameverse.app.

7. International transfers

We and some processors operate in more than one country. If you use NameVerse from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our providers run.

8. Children

You must be 18 or older to create an account and buy a song. A song may be written about a child, but the purchaser is the adult account holder. We do not knowingly collect account data from children.

9. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may ask us to stop using it for analytics where the law allows. Email support@nameverse.app and we will respond.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
