Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of NameVerse at https://nameverse.app, including song creation, checkout, downloads, and gift pages. By using the site you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be 18 or older to create an account or make a purchase. You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your Google account secure.

3. The service

NameVerse writes and records an original birthday song from the name and memories you provide. After you sign in, you may create Take A free and hear the first 60 seconds. Paying unlocks the full master, an alternate Take B, lyrics, and a private gift page.

Generation quality depends on the details you submit. Unusual names should include phonetic spelling. We do not guarantee a specific length, style, or emotional reaction.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the memories, notes, and photos you upload. You grant us a license to use that material solely to create, host, and deliver your song and gift page, and to handle support or a Birthday Promise remake.

Do not submit content you do not have the right to share, or content that is illegal, hateful, or sexually exploitative. We may refuse or remove a song that violates these rules.

5. Payment and pricing

Current prices are $19.99 for one song and $49 for a 3-song pack. Payments are one-time charges through Stripe. Pack credits do not expire. Taxes may apply at checkout.

Paying starts digital generation. Unless consumer law requires otherwise, we do not offer a cash refund after a song has been unlocked. Quality issues are handled through the Birthday Promise.

6. The Birthday Promise

Request a remake by emailing support@nameverse.app with your order or song details. The Promise does not cover a change of mind, new memories added after purchase, or a request for an entirely different song.

7. Personal-use license

You receive a personal, non-commercial license to play the song at gatherings, share the gift page with family and friends, and keep the files for private use. You may not resell the song, use it as a commercial soundtrack, or claim you composed it, without our written permission.

8. Acceptable use

You may not reverse-engineer the service, abuse generation limits, interfere with other users, or use NameVerse to create content that impersonates someone in a harmful way.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or gifts caused by sharing a private link. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the song at issue in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
